You don’t need an adult or health professional to refer you to HYCS but if you would like a friend or parent to help you to contact us, call when you are with them. If you would prefer us to call you, just email with your contact details.
If things are feeling really difficult for you and it is urgent so you need immediate support - look at our emotional crisis leaflet for 24 hour services and guidance.
Why not contact us for an intro to counselling session? It’s a chance to check us out and see if counselling is for you and to explore what is troubling you. Afterwards, you can decide if you want to sign up for regular counselling - the choice is yours. We can usually offer these sessions quite quickly once you’ve first called - typically within a couple of weeks

If you prefer to wait for a face to face appointment, please let us know during your intro' session.
When trying out something new, it's natural to be a bit nervous! Our friendly intro’ team and counsellors understand that and will be pleased to meet you.

About our appointments Due to pandemic restrictions, we have changed the way we are now delivering 1-2-1 counselling support to young people. We have now moved largely to telephone or online (video) appointments for 13-25 year olds with some limited availability for face to face work for 11-25 year olds. (subject to local restrictions).

About face to face appointments HYCS takes the wellbeing of all of our service users seriously and we have taken many precautions to ensure the wellbeing of people visiting our Centre.

Getting Here HYCS is close to many bus and rail routes: Bus • H37 and 117 bus stops are close to HYCS on St Johns Road (approx. 1-3 mins walk) • 235 and 237 - bus stops on London Road (approx. 5-10 mins walk) • 267 and R62 - bus stops on Twickenham Road (approx. 5-10 mins walk) Train Nearest station is Isleworth on the London Road (approx. 5-10 mins walk) Car • Limited car parking space is available at the centre. • Some meter parking is available in surrounding streets. • On road parking is available but restricted by a residents’ parking system between 10am-12pm and 5pm-7pm weekdays.
When To Arrive As we do not have a waiting room, try to arrive as close to your appointment as possible, no more than 5 minutes before your appointment.
Where to Come We are based at 78 St John's Road, Isleworth TW7 6RU.
When you first arrive you'll see our front door (see picture below). Simply press the buzzer for 'youth counselling' and we'll let you in.
As you enter the foyer, you will see another door taking you upstairs to HYCS. Come on up and one of our team will be there to meet you.
Lift access to our offices is available - just let us know and we will give you instructions.
After the Intro' Session, you decide if you want to come for regular counselling. If so, we can add you to our waiting list and will contact you as soon as a space becomes available.
Waiting times for a regular slot vary, usually between 8-12 weeks. You can tell us what times are best for you.
