HYCS' latest recruitment for volunteer, humanistic counsellors is now open!
Are you available for a midweek, evening session to work with young people 11-25 years old, working face to face in the London Borough of Hounslow?
WE ARE LOOKING FOR COUNSELLORS WHO:
- Have completed a minimum of one year, humanistic counselling training (skills & theory) at certificate level.
- Are continuing their humanistic counsellor training on a Diploma or Degree level training course.
- Are interested in working with young people from age 11 to 25 years old
- Will be available to see clients for 3 sessions 6 -9pm one evening a week (Mon, Tues, Wed or Thurs)
- Have the time and commitment for supervision, training and agency development
- Will meet our selection criteria.
WE OFFER:
For those counsellors who do join us we offer:
- Regular monthly 1-2-1 clinical supervision, paid for by HYCS
- Ongoing, in-house training
- Managerial & team support
- Experience of working in a voluntary sector agency
- The opportunity to develop skills and experience of working with young people in a supportive environment.

- Core training
