Qualified professional advocates can support children and young people through a range of services.
They work face to face with children and young people who are receiving treatment on a mental health unit - Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). CAMHS advocacy support is provided within both private and NHS hospitals across the country.
Young people can refer themselves or be referred by a third party to the service or speak to the advocate during a regular drop in.

Young people aged 11-19 attending secondary school in Hounslow Borough can text the school nurses' team for confidential advice and support - if you are worried about any aspect of your health, feeling stressed about anything text 07507 333176 and a member of the NHS school nursing team will come back to you within 24 hours from 9am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
